Akasha, a word of Sanskrit origin used to indicate the lightness of being, is the most shock-absorbing shoe in the La Sportiva Mountain Running collection: dedicated to endurance competitions, ideal for long-distance runs, Ultra-Marathons, Ultra-Trails and for prolonged use in training.

Comfort is ensured by the cushioning, thanks to the Cushion orthopaedic insert Platform™, by the ample internal volumes and by the soft, breathable and enveloping upper with Slip-on construction which avoids compression points during the race. The Dynamic front active reinforcements ProTechTion™ provide protection and structure following the movement of the foot in a dynamic and stress-free way. The FriXion XT bi-mesh outsole is equipped with the exclusive Trail system Rocker™ which promotes natural support of the foot "heel out - toe in" during the race. Akasha: the code of the ultra-runner is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.
