The practice of Yoga

Yoga is a sport that has been practiced more and more in recent years. The sets of postures and breathing exercises allow a physical and mental well-being. There are different types of yoga:

- Dynamic yoga: postures that are done to the rhythm of the breath. While making the body supple and strong, this practice improves the cardiovascular system.

- More static yoga: which focuses on the alignment of the body by working on the development of body parts.

- Gentle yoga: which is often practiced on older people.

We all know, or almost all of us, that yoga brings many physical benefits. With regular practice, humans can correct posture errors developed during their lives. Actor of stress reduction, yoga will make you a relaxed and Zen person whatever the situation.

The practice of Pilates

Pilates is a practice aimed at developing muscles in depth, improving posture, working for muscle balance and joint suppleness with the goal of maintaining, improving or restoring your physical functions. The Pilates method is practiced on the mat with or without accessories or using equipment.

Joseph Hubertus Pilates - and yes, there is a man behind this holistic method - draws some of the principles of his method from his own experiences ... of confinement. Suffering from chronic asthma, he was "locked" in his lungs and forced into respiratory confinement; during the First World War, he was taken prisoner on the Isle of Man (GB) and forced into a confinement of body and mind. Despite all this, Joe Pilates (yes, that's what we in the know call him) became an accomplished sportsman in skiing, diving, yoga, boxing and gymnastics. So, he would have - and his method has - his place here, between us, a community of true natures gathered around Alpinstore.

Muscle strengthening

You can also at home, do some grooming, abs, push-ups, fitness exercises very easily, you just have to find the motivation and in these practices, the recurrence to its importance. Might as well take advantage of the time you spend at home to do it!
