Technical characteristics :

• 70M search bandwidth: The search bandwidth is the width of the area "scanned" by the device in search. The wider the search bandwidth, the larger the search area covered by the device. It is often used to compare the performance of devices.
• GROUP CHECK: The group-check function is a simple way to ensure that all members of a group are carrying a transmitting avalanche transceiver. The group-check function places the unit in proximity search, allowing you to check each member of the group individually from within one meter of them.
• MARKING FUNCTION: When searching for a victim, the marking function allows you to ignore the victim and concentrate on finding another victim. The signal from the "marked" victim is then no longer taken into account for the rest of the search. The multiple burial indicator displays a "+" when there are more than 3 victims.
• REVERT-TO-TRANSMIT: During the search, in the event of an over avalanche, the return to transmit function allows the unit to return to transmit automatically, without any action from the user. The return to transmission is done either by timer, i.e. after a delay without user action, or by motion detector, after a delay without movement of the device. These delays can be set in the configuration menu of the device.
• INTERFERENCE MANAGEMENT : Interference management optimises the performance of the device when searching in an environment "polluted" by electromagnetic interference. To do this, the search device automatically reduces the search bandwidth to concentrate on the signal of the device being searched for, ignoring the interfering frequencies. This function can be disabled by the user.
• STANDBY MODE: The unit in standby mode is neither searching nor transmitting. This function is intended to work on the avalanche without disturbing the search with the waves of the device. In the event of an over avalanche, the return to transmit function automatically returns the unit to transmit mode. The analog mode allows you to take full advantage of the maximum range of the main antenna.
• SCROLLING FUNCTION: The victim selection function allows you to organize a rescue operation by selecting the desired victim to best distribute the search among the rescuers. The identity of the victims is not displayed but a list of victims is created in the order of proximity which allows to select the victim according to the distance.
• 3 antennas to improve the chances of finding a signal and for greater accuracy in fine searching.
• U-TURN ALARM lets the rescuer know he is heading in the wrong direction.
• Analog mode takes full advantage of the maximum range of the main antenna.
