Soft landing

The Dropline combines the lightweight agility of a trail running shoe with the comfort and protection of a mid-high hiking boot. It is specifically designed to absorb shock while providing a soft landing on alpine terrain. This performance is made possible by the high-performance midsole, excellent EVA cushioning and rebound, and the S Path outsole, which encourages a more natural, smooth ride during fast, dynamic movements and excellent stability.

Lightweight protection

The lightweight Air Mesh upper is reinforced with the supportive 3F System, the protective EXA Shell and the reinforced anti-slip heel cups that keep your feet in place and ensure torsional stability. In addition, the mid-rise design and SALEWA® Ankle Protection System (APS) provide an extra layer of lightweight abrasion protection and extra lateral ankle support for comfort, especially on fast descents.

Precise, customizable fit and positive traction

Specific 3D laces, with built-in tightening that automatically maintains the right lacing tension in two different zones, while the customizable Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) with interchangeable insoles allows you to further adjust the volume and fit. The POMOCA® outsole features an original rounded shape with a reverse arch that allows for a quick and smooth heel-to-toe transition and positive, self-cleaning traction on all types of terrain. The gaiter on the tongue and the stretch gaiter at the ankle prevent dust and stones from entering the shoe on rough and rocky trails.

Technical features:

• 3D-Lacing: 3D lace stopper that separates the lacing system into two individually adjustable sections. It allows you to adjust the lace tension in two different places on the shoe, and thus adjust the fit.
