Label and Technology:

• SBS - Simple Braid System - is a system in which each strand is braided independently into the sheath and not in pairs one after the other. The result of this braiding system is a more compact sheath. The SBS sheath has a smoother surface than a sheath made by the usual tandem system. Therefore, ropes using SBS generate lower friction forces and are more resistant to abrasion and abrasion damage when in contact with the rock surface. The compactness of the sheath also reduces the effects of small particles penetrating between the fiber and this, in turn, reduces damage to the internal structure of the sheath and the entire rope. Another advantage is that a rope with SBS sheath is more pleasant to the touch, handling the rope is easier, the rope "runs" better and is perfectly flexible.

• FULL SHIELD TECHNOLOGY: Maximum level of rope protection against water and abrasion. It is achieved by using the new progressive nanotechnology method. Tiny particles of TEFLON ECO are applied to the sheath and core of the rope and form a nearly waterproof protective layer film. The rope fibers are then protected from dust and water that would otherwise damage the rope construction. The full shield is an impregnation that greatly extends the overall life of Tendon ropes. All ropes with the full shield finish meet the UIAA 101 requirement for water repellency testing.
