These leather boots are very breathable, so they have a deliberately limited level of water resistance, especially because of the seams around the tongue. We recommend applying a nubuck waterproofing product to the vamp and seams if you need these boots to be waterproof.

The use of a leather care product also preserves the natural properties of the leather. Like our other G Trek 5 models, these boots come with two insoles, one of which can be removed to better fit wider feet. This model also features a leather lining around the ankle.

Finally, crampon compatibility on the back allows these boots to be used for summer mountaineering in hot weather, provided a waterproof coating is applied to the upper. The G Trek 5 Leather boots are the ideal choice for hiking in demanding terrain, during which comfort is the priority.
