Softshell jacket Salewa Comici (mauvemood) Women's

We make the Comici jacket from innovative AlpineWool® windproof composite softshell fabric, with an inner layer of wool for extra insulation. It has a PFC-free DWR (durable water-repellent) finish, adding a layer of protection, as well as laminated details and limited seams for a clean, precise look. This jacket is named after Emilio Comici, a mountaineering artist who was probably one of the greatest climbers of his generation.

Stormwall is our exclusive breathable softshell fabric with a tough outer layer that insulates against snow and moisture, while the inner layer and internal windproof membrane allow perspiration and condensation to easily escape to the outside, keeping you warm and dry. Its 4-way mechanical stretch ensures total freedom of movement for technical terrain. AlpineWool® is made from wool from mountain sheep blended with polyester yarns.

The Comici jacket's mountain-minded features include ergonomic sleeves and shoulders for a wide range of movement, and a free-flowing piqué structure to prevent the hem from lifting during climbing. The storm hood, with shaped visor and one-hand rear adjustment, is ergonomically shaped to accommodate a climbing helmet. With two zipped chest pockets, hook-and-loop cuffs and an adjustable stretch hem to keep the heat in when you want it.
