Technical characteristics :

• Robust and neutral-tasting container: the three-layer film developed by Platy has a robust thermoplastic polyurethane outer layer and a neutral-tasting polyethylene inner layer.
• Individually configurable: Thanks to the double thread (inside/outside), the filter cartridge can be configured in a versatile way. It fits both the QuickDraw water pouch and smartwater® bottles, Platy's Hoser™ water bottle, Platy's 2-liter bottle, Platy's SoftBottle™ bottle, Platy's Water Tank bottle, and some traditional 28mm diameter PET bottles.
• Very high flow rate: the hollow fiber filter cartridge filters up to three liters of water per minute when compressed normally.
• Simple and effective cleaning: The filter can be cleaned quickly and easily, even on the move, by simply shaking it out or backwashing it, so you can enjoy your adventure in peace.
• Sturdy, well-thought-out construction: the securely attached cap on the drinking water side works as a safe seal, while the non-slip filter body is soft to the touch and repels dirt.
• Hollow fibers: Hundreds of small hollow fibers allow the microfilter to filter faster than traditional filtration methods.
• Effective: Each microfilter is individually tested and meets all EPA and NSF guidelines for the removal of 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa (this applies to giardia, cryptosporidium, E. coli, salmonella and cholera).
