Annecy : Icleanmylake, a family behind an eco-citizen initiative

What isIcleanmylake?

"Showing people that everyone, at their own level, can contribute to protecting their planet" is the message we are trying to convey through our account. instagram @icleanmylake. On this account that we created in July 2019, we regularly publish photos of our underwater fishing in Lake Annecy and its surroundings. Fratrie of 4 children, we equip ourselves with our masks and we dive in order to bring up the rubbish we find at the bottom of the water.

At a time when the climate issue is at the heart of the debate and when consciences are awakening more than ever, we hope to show that every small contribution is useful in protecting the environment.

Despite our young age, we are involved and sensitive to the preservation of natural areas. Beyond our initiative, we want to highlight and relay the multitudes of individual actions carried out by other people; this is why we ask our subscribers to send us photos of their own harvests.
