Running, also known as jogging or jogging, is becoming more and more popular. This English word is translated as "running". Running is therefore the practice of running on the road, unlike the trail which is done on trails. And recently the word "running" has entered the dictionary (yes yes!).

But to take that long awaited breath of fresh air, you need the right equipment, and by equipment I mean of course: the right running shoes.

At Alpinstore, you'll find running shoes for men and women of different brands.

To begin, choosing the right running shoe, start by knowing what kind of running you want to do. Rather running? A marathon?

In the case of a short run, you will need to opt for light, dynamic shoes without very thick cushioning. As for the marathon, which requires a higher frequency of training, choose a shoe that is just as light, dynamic, but above all with optimal cushioning. This cushioning will give you stability during your run and will help take care of your joints. You will find thick soles adapted to these long races, especially with Hoka One One and his famous Bondi.

In a second step, you will have to choose your size. Be aware that running sneakers sometimes have intermediate sizes (36 2/3. 37 1/3, ...). It is important to remember that when you put on your shoes, you must unroll your foot as much as possible in the shoe and note that your foot is not too tight, nor the shoe too big because it must have a good support. And don't forget to take your socks for fittings!

Of course, at Alpinstore, we help you to find your running shoe and we provide you with size guides: size guide Hoka One, size guide Scott.

How do I start running?

Anyone can run! But it's all about progressiveness. There is no best practice, but first you have to start in a split, one part running, one part walking. Indeed, your muscles and joints must first adapt to this rhythm of sport. But we must also take into account the cardio that must adapt to your running rhythm. The more time passes, the more you will see your performance improve!

So to get the most out of your time, relieve stress, increase your well-being, grab your running shoes and go for a run!
