Introducing MIPS technology integrated into helmets

The MIPS technology that is integrated in the Giro, Smith and Bern helmets is used to reduce the rotational forces applied to the brain during an impact. The helmets are designed to absorb direct impacts very effectively and, when combined with MIPS technology, they also absorb forces better by allowing the outer shell to rotate slightly relative to the liner.
