Our story begins in 1991, when Rex and Marilyn Trimnell launched X-Lite UK. After creating the world's first double crown fork, Rex developed an effective and original pink cleaner for their kit. This product quickly became a hit and led to the creation of the Muc-Off brand.

Today, Muc-Off is the preferred brand for professional athletes, teams and outdoor sports enthusiasts. We offer a complete line of lubricants, sprays, clothing care products, and antibacterial products. We are proud to contribute to our customers' performance by providing them with superior products.

We are constantly creating new products and all of our ideas are developed in-house in our state-of-the-art research and development center under the direction of Alex, Rex's son and our General Manager "Mad Developer". Once he's designed something new, the product goes through rigorous testing by our in-house experts as well as cyclists to ensure that every Muc-Off product is state of the art. Being passionate about cycling, our products are made by cyclists for cyclists, which sets us apart. We break the rules.

We understand the gravity of the situation. We've seen natural disasters, fires and species extinctions. We have seen alarming documentaries, statistics and news reports. With only one planet at our disposal, it is essential that we act quickly to protect and preserve it for future generations. We can no longer afford to just talk, it is time to act. By January 2023, we will have saved more than 208 tons of plastic, but we are not stopping there. We're working to set a new, more ambitious goal that will allow us to be more environmentally friendly than ever, ensuring that our playground is preserved for generations of riders to come.

Our commitment focuses on three key areas: product initiatives, services and partnerships. We are committed to full transparency, recognizing what we do well, but also identifying areas where we can improve and describing how we will get there. Our mission is always toconstantly improve everything we create. We love our planet and are committed to protecting it for future riders.
