It's made of ROBIC®, a rugged nylon that's 60% more tear-resistant than traditional backpack nylon and resists virtually everything from rocks to crampons to ice axes. Its tried and true split shoulder strap system offers more arm mobility than most other backpacks, a big advantage on long ski and skin climbs or when climbing at height. The bag has functional details such as rope loops, an ice axe loop and numerous ski loops (parallel and diagonal) that allow for quick attachment without removing the bag. There is also a fleece-lined pocket for goggles without scratching them, a flap pocket, a separate side pocket for wet skins and a special compartment for your shovel and avalanche probe.
