Ultra light ice axe Camp Corsa Nanotech (red)

The most advanced ice axe on the market for hiking on snow as well as on glaciers and ski-mountaineering. Made of lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum alloy like the lightweight Corsa, it differs from the Corsa in that it has Sandvik Nanoflex® steel alloy inserts on the head and shaft: critical parts that become more resistant and long-lasting without reducing their lightness. The curvature of the shaft optimizes hitting without reducing the functionality in support and penetration in the snow. A special nylon insert prevents snow from penetrating and accumulating in the shaft, which has a handle designed to ensure a good grip. The integrated passage in the head, between the tip and the shaft, allows the Corsa strap (available separately) to be attached.
It is not recommended for ice climbing, rough terrain with rocks and snow, or even for carving steps.
Sandvik Nanoflex® is an innovative steel alloy with 60% greater strength and toughness than a normal steel alloy that reduces the amount of metal used, significantly reducing weight while maintaining strength.
