This revamped version of the classic MTN Trainer is designed in Montebelluna, a small town at the foot of the Dolomites famous for its mountain boots. This rugged and versatile low-top shoe, designed for mountain approach with a 1.6 millimeter suede upper and Vibram outsole, is meant for extended heavy use. The durable leather upper features an integral protective layer-point for 360° abrasion resistance on rocky terrain and a breathable mesh lining.

The enhanced over-the-shoulder design ensures a comfortable, more flexible fit, while the medium stiff nylon midsole supports the midfoot, while providing forefoot flexibility for faster movement on steep terrain. The multi-functional Vibram MTN Trainer Evo outsole features deep, self-cleaning grooves and sturdy lugs that ensure good grip on rock and scree and optimal traction on mud and grass. A special via ferrata surface under the center of the foot, before the heel, has special right-angled crampons for better grip on the iron rungs of via ferrata ladders.

The signature 3F system connects the instep area to the sole and heel, providing flexibility, precision and support. Mountaineering laces can be fine-tuned at the toe for precision climbing, while the stretch gaiter under the laces offers added protection from the elements. And don't forget the cushioned OrthoLite footbed that repels moisture to help keep your feet cool.
