The G Air is distinguished by its snug-fitting construction, which ensures exceptional sensitivity and the ability to perform precision operations without removing it. Silicone indentations on the palm and fingers ensure a firm grip on poles and ice axes, making it ideal for both hiking and ice climbing, where it's best used while climbing, to be replaced by a warmer glove at the belay stop. For ski-mountaineers, however, the G Air is a valid option when climbing, bearing in mind that unless athletes are very warm or conditions are not too cold, a more protective pair of gloves is always needed for the descent.
