This shorter version is ideal for light-style ski raids, avalanche rescue training workshops and thinner snow packs. The Black Diamond Quickdraw Probe 240 features durable 6-strand aluminum construction, Kevlar rope for reduced weight and our innovative CordLock technology. Thanks to its finger-wire locking mechanism, CordLock technology enables the probe to be stored securely without the need for a cover, and therefore allows accelerated deployment when the time comes. The Probe 240 offers one-gesture, ultra-fast deployment in an emergency the Kevlar cable keeps overall weight to a minimum.
The quick tips allow for ultra-fast deployment with the pull of a cord, and the QuickDraw Probe snaps securely into place with a secure locking mechanism.
