The decisive element of a good glide is the snowboard bindings. There are different kinds of bindings and at Alpinstore we offer you a choice of bindings for men, women and children. But before you make your choice, let's start by understanding how to choose bindings.
The difference is easily understood by their names. Classic snowboard bindings are the ones that were designed first. The spoiler at the back remains fixed and the two straps, one at the top of the foot and one at the bottom, will hold your foot in place. The rear entry bindings, as the name suggests, offer the possibility to enter your foot by sliding it as easily as the skis. Thanks to an additional element at the back of the spoiler, the latter lowers to make room for your foot. You won't have to keep removing and reattaching the straps, just adjust them and let your boots slide in. To be sure to be well fixed do not hesitate and come to discover the Flow bindings specialized inthis type of products.
Flex is the stiffness of the snowboard binding. Bindings are therefore classified by a number between 1 and 10. The higher the number, the less flexible the binding. We recommend using soft flex bindings for beginners, then depending on the discipline you practice (freeride, freestyle, all-mountain), you can choose from our many brands.
Match your bindings with your boots. It is very important to take into account the size of your boots to get the right size binding.
At Alpinstore, you will find snowboard bindings but also splitboard bindings such as karakoam or nitro. Moreover, some bindings are available in our snowboard packs!
Don't delay to equip yourself or to complete your snowboard equipment to be ready when the season starts!
