The Prodigio 2 is a modern and versatile trail shoe that marks a real change at La Sportiva, with a successful compromise between comfort, cushioning, and dynamism. It stands out for its XFlow foam providing good energy return and protective cushioning, as well as a smooth stride thanks to the rocker, making it suitable for long distances and varied, rather rolling terrains. More comfortable and accessible than traditional models from the brand, it remains stable and grippy, but slightly less precise on very technical terrain and somewhat less dynamic than more performance-oriented models. Therefore, it is an excellent choice for versatile use and ultra trail, especially if you prioritize comfort and consistency.
