For more than 75 years, we have been committed to creating products that are environmentally friendly, high quality, safe and easy to use. Our founder Erik Thulin, an outdoor enthusiast, started Thule in 1942 in the deepest forest of Småland, Sweden. Since then, we have worked to design and develop products that go with you wherever you go.

The Thule Test Center™ in Hillerstorp, Sweden, is a place where products are subjected to extreme testing, including heat, cold, water resistance, drops, tensile, impact and wind tunnel crash tests. We are proud to offer over 25 Thule test standards that far exceed current ISO standards. To ensure that our products meet the expectations of demanding users, we have created the Thule Crew, a team that tests our products in real-world conditions every day. We aim to develop contemporary products that are built to last, and we are proud of our reputation for quality workmanship. While we are thrilled with our design awards, our most valuable reward is the satisfaction of seeing our products in use day after day. Our Thule Crew members are top athletes and professionals, but they are also a vital part of our community. Each of them has a unique story, passion and vision that embodies the spirit of the Thule brand.

We encourage healthy, active l ifestyles around the world. We also participate in Pathos projects initiated by some of the Thule Crew members, such as Apa Sherpa, which fights for children's education in Nepal, Maria Kuzma and Pedro Oliva, who build schools out of recycled materials, and many others.
