The Brenta down jacket from Salewa is part of the Salewa Commited product range.

The brand's aim is for customers to know what they are buying and understand the true value of a product. The Salewa Committed icon marks products that meet their demanding internal criteria.

MANDATORY

1. Chemical control: More than 90% of the product's weight meets at least one of the following criteria:

- The main material (or the entire product) has been chemically tested by an independent body in accordance with the Oberalp Chemical Policy.

- The main material is bluesign® approved

2. Factory monitored for social standards: Production plants have been inspected by third parties to verify compliance with social standards and working conditions. Each audit is valid for 3 years. Where the last audit was carried out more than 3 years ago and a new audit has not yet been carried out, this criterion is not applicable.

ADDITIONAL

1. PFC-free: This criterion only applies to models with a long-lasting water-repellent treatment. All materials used in the model must be PFC-free.

2. Recycled content: The product contains at least 50% recycled content (by weight).

3. Upcycled: The product has been manufactured with at least 50% recycled materials (by weight).

4. Responsibly sourced down: The product's down is RDS (Responsible Down Standards) certified.

5. Natural/renewable materials: The product contains at least 50% of one (or a mixture) of the following materials (by weight): - VISCOSE (VI) - WOOL (WO) - TirolWool® or No Mulesing certified wool - TENCEL® (CTY) - LINEN (LI) - CANVER (CA) - COTTON (CO).
