      4-season tent - NORDISK Svalbard 1 SL - Very strong and light

      I was able to test this tent for several nights, sometimes with temperatures below 0°C. With a sleeping bag at 5°C (with a few warm items and a mattress), it's a well-insulated tent. It's very easy to set up thanks to 2 poles and a minimum of 2 stakes at the ends to make it stand upright. Others will be useful, and planned, if the weather is windy, but the stakes are very light, so don't hesitate to take some in your bag. Fasteners on the sides help to counteract fickle weather, and the adjustable clips for attaching the roof to the passenger compartment are quick and easy.

      Once the poles and hoops have been separated from the interior, it becomes highly compressible, saving you space inside the bag. The interior is functional, with small threaded pockets on the sides for storing compression bags, so you can fold them up faster in the morning without having to search for them in your pack.

      The abside, coupled with a floor mat to protect against ground humidity, will keep your bag and pair of shoes dry. The height at head level makes it easy to fold up in case of rain, without having to get out of the tent or touch the wet edges. The height at foot level is rather low, but if you organize your sleeping arrangements properly, and thanks to the good depth of the tent, you'll be able to avoid touching the wall. A zipped opening on the air vents helps manage humidity according to the conditions encountered.
