In Mold: it's a shell fused with the mosses. They are lighter helmets. Model: Slam Cap
Hard Shell: these are all other helmets with a shell glued on a foam. They are heavier but more resistant to shocks.
FIS 2013standards mandatory from 14 years old in competition. Concerns MBB and Basher. These 2 helmets integrate a second foam skin which absorbs more shocks. It is a honeycomb fused into the helmet foam. For the MBB there are only 2 sizes, but we have foam for that.
The Half brain (visor) and Bumper helmets are versatile and allow the practice of skiing, white water, skateboarding. They are standardised in Europe and the United States. They have removable earpads.
RAA system: The MIPS is a solution for shocks that are not at right angles (integrates a metal pad). Shred has developed the RAA for MIPS. It is a velcro system that is shown under the helmet, the moving pad absorbs shocks and gives a rotation to the foam.
Shred helmets can integrate a chin strap for competition.
No distortion: pad to avoid deformation to allow ventilation between inside and outside. It will filter water and air. A double Lens that will prevent you from fogging up.
No clog : a chemical treatment in hydrophobic mass. Easily evacuates snow.
Triple foam: soft on the face and hypoallergenic / 1 comptact foam + 1 absorption foam.
The screen can be changed on each mask.
