EXPERT OPINION: I-TREKKINGS       

The Millet Pierra Ment II fleece is a well thought-out, fun to wear and technical jacket. Its close-fitting and very stretchy feel is a big plus.
Its internal material means that you can feel the warmth spread from the very first movements, even if there is no effective windproofing effect. Under a hardshell, it loses effectiveness.

The quality is there, as is often the case with Millet, but you'll have to wait two or three seasons to see whether or not it wears out.

In the end, this is an unusual product in my mountaineering wardrobe, but it's pretty cool. The price is still quite high.
