Nubuck & Suede Proofing from Nikwax is a waterproofing agent specially designed for nubuck and suede shoes, with a practical sponge applicator. It offers maximum water protection simply by being applied to nubuck and suede. It significantly reduces water stains and prevents dirt from becoming embedded in the leather. It's important to note that your shoes can only absorb water if they're dirty. As a first step, you can clean them with Nikwax® Shoe Cleaning Gel. If your shoes are almost new or have recently been waterproofed, the Durable Water Repellent Treatment (DWR) will simply be regenerated by washing. However, when your shoes have been extensively used, it is necessary to re-waterproof them using Nubuck & Suede Proof™ from Nikwax after cleaning them with Shoe Cleaning Gel Nikwax®. More details

Apply Nikwax Nubuck & Suede Proof™ by hand...
- Remove dirt with a damp cloth and clean with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel™.
- Shake bottle well before use. Squeeze center of sponge to release product.
- Apply generously to wet shoes; Spray (from a distance of 5cm) or sponge.
- After 2 minutes, wipe off excess with a cloth and allow to dry before use.
Note: Colored/clear suede/nubuck may darken after application. Test on a hidden area.
Let your shoes air-dry...
- Let your shoes dry at room temperature.
- You can stuff them with paper around the toes to absorb excess moisture,
- Replace it once it's wet.
- Keep your shoes away from heat sources and radiators.
- drying too quickly can break the leather and loosen the glued soles.
