Millet' sAlpine Fit™ is designed to reduce bulk while granting enough space and freedom of movement needed for mountain progression. Raglan sleeves grant greater durability to the garment by eliminating friction-vulnerable areas of backpack straps at the armholes. The articulated shape of the jacket pattern allows great mobility despite the slim silhouette. The Gore-Tex® Pro Astree 3L fabric is a real technological evolution, with a multi-layer membrane system consisting of a simple microstructure.

The Gore-Tex® PTFE membrane is laminated between a tough outer fabric and an equally tough polyamide ripstop inner lining. The result: superior strength and breathability for safe, long-lasting protection. The material is windproof and more breathable, while the jacket's ergonomic design allows excess warm air to be quickly vented to the outside through the zippered ventilation openings under the arms. Aquaguard z ippers seal out water on the outside of the jacket, and the drainage system in the chest pockets will prevent you from ending up with wet gloves or topo. To protect your electronics and other items, store them in the inner chest pocket. The chest pockets are positioned for easy access and backpack/harness compatibility. As is the center front closure with a double slider that lets you put on or take off your jacket without touching your harness. With an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood, the V Icon is ideal formountaineering.

Dual Tech construction: The use of two complementary materials for improved abrasion resistance, freedom of movement and moisture transfer.

Active cut: Tight-fitting cut over the whole body, slightly tightened at the bottom of the garment, which means it takes up little space and performs well during effort. This cut is often combined with stretch fabrics for greater comfort.

Recco : The RECCO® Rescue System is a two-part technology. The rescue system is equipped with RECCO® detectors, which emit a signal. RECCO® reflectors, worn by mountaineers, reflect this signal and help find the buried person.
