The Expedition series from Devold has been improved in collaboration with polar explorer Børge Ousland. Additions include a "kangaroo pocket" for warming hands and storing batteries, and an adapted hood to minimize heat loss.

The high collar can be pulled over the nose with breathing holes for moisture wicking. The garment benefits from Aquaduct treatment for enhanced moisture wicking and is made from Total Easy Care merino wool, machine washable and dryable.
