With our Green Shape label, we offer functional, ecological and sustainable products. When manufactured, we strive to ensure fair working conditions throughout the production chain. Our evaluation criteria are draconian and transparent. For the manufacture of this product, VAUDE uses recycled materials, for example from PET bottles. Thus, we save up to 50% of energy and CO2 emissions, as well as fossil materials. More information on recycled materials.

VAUDE products with Eco Finish are water-repellent and environmentally friendly, without fluorocarbon (PFC). PFCs belong to a group of chemical compounds that are used in many outdoor products for waterproofing the exterior material. They are subject to criticism because they are considered non-biodegradable, they are concentrated in the body, and they are believed to be harmful to health. The VAUDE acronym "PVC-free" means that these products are made entirely without PVC (polyvinyl chloride). PVC often contains softeners (phthalates) that are believed to represent a health risk. More information on "PVC-free".
