Chest Circumference
Wrap the measuring tape horizontally under the arms and over the widest part of the chest. Keep the tape straight at the back. Stand with arms extended. Source: official vaude.com.
Waist Circumference
Measure at the narrowest point of the torso, usually just above the navel. Do not hold your breath.
Hip Circumference
Measure at the widest point of the buttocks/pelvic bone. Keep the tape horizontal all around.
Inseam
Measure from the top of the inner thigh (crotch) to the ankle. Get help.
Hand Circumference (Gloves)
Measure around the hand at the knuckles, excluding the thumb. The dominant hand is often 0.5 cm larger.

Measuring Your Back Length
- Stand up straight, head up, looking straight ahead.
- Locate the 7th cervical vertebra (bony protrusion at the base of the neck = C7).
- Measure the distance from C7 to the iliac crest (pelvic bone, at the top of the hips).
- Compare with the table of the chosen Vaude model.
