This multi-fuel stove is designed for adventurers looking for a reliable, versatile solution. It works with a wide range of fuels, from gas to liquid, guaranteeing optimum performance whatever the environment. Its light weight and compact size make it an ideal companion for hikes and expeditions.
The innovative design of this stove allows rapid changeover from one fuel to another without disassembly. Its unique nozzle ensures efficient operation and self-cleaning during cooking. With a power rating of up to 4200 Watts, it is capable of boiling a liter of water in just 3.4 minutes on gasoline.
EXPERT OPINION: I-TREKKINGS
The Optimus Polaris Optifuel stove impressed me with its power to boil water very quickly, even with a large pot. In gas mode, it's really very practical, the liquid fuel mode being in my opinion to be used only when you don't have the possibility of refueling with a gas cartridge (as it's slower to light).Watch out for the power on ignition!
Positive points:Very powerful (almost too powerful!)Quick lighting in gas modeRather compact for such a powerful, multi-fuel modelNo need to bring a second stove if you're going to countries where there may not be a gas cylinder.
Negative points:Occasionally temperamental ignitionIgnition in liquid fuel mode can be time-consuming.
