      The ANGE L carabiner is the ideal intermediary between traditional finger carabiners and conventional wiregate carabiners. The MonoFil technology of PETZL and the H-profile ensure a light weight of 34 grams and an optimal weight/resistance ratio. The shape of the mouthpiece and the Keylock system prevent the carabiner from unintentionally snagging during clipping and unclipping. This makes it particularly well-suited to long-distance climbers looking to lighten their load, while retaining the ergonomics of a standard-size carabiner.

      Detailed description

      • Extremely lightweight standard-size carabiner:
        - weighing just 34 g, it is ideal for lightening up when climbing cliffs or mountains,
        - optimized carabiner size and weight/resistance ratio, thanks to the H-profile.
      • Easy clipping and unclipping:
        - MonoFil finger ensures smooth opening and closing of the carabiner, while offering a much longer service life than traditional wiregate carabiners. The thread-finger is protected laterally in the event of friction (against rock, etc.).),
        - Keylock system designed to prevent accidental snagging on gear rack, pitons, rope or webbing,
        - carabiner spout with opening to allow ice, snow or gravel to drain away,
        - flat carabiner back for excellent stability in the hand or when clipping into a clamp,
        - large contact surfaces with rope and anchor to facilitate rope passage and increase the wear resistance of the carabiner.
