The CORSA ice axe is designed to meet the needs of hikers and ski tourers looking for an ultralight tool. Ideal for hiking on snow, glaciers and ski touring, this ice axe features a featherweight design that doesn't restrict movement. Its aluminum shaft, conforming to EN 13089 Type 1, is both sturdy and lightweight, enabling it to be used effectively as an anchor in the snow or for rescue maneuvers.

The integratednylon insert prevents snow accumulation in the handle, guaranteeing smooth, trouble-free use. The elaborate handle in the lower part of the shaft ensures a firm, comfortable grip, even in difficult conditions. What's more, the pick's head is designed with a specific passage for attaching the Corsa strap (available separately), adding extra security during use.

However, it's important to note that the CORSA ice axe is not recommended for vertical ice climbing, difficult mixed terrain or interventions requiring intense step-cutting. Instead, this ice axe is designed for more moderate snow and ice conditions, offering a practical, lightweight solution for mountain activities.
