Akasha II for women is the technical and aesthetic redesign of Akasha, the shoe from the La Sportiva Mountain Running® collection dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long distance runs, ultra-marathons, ultra-trails and intense training. Shoe comfort is given by the cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform™ footbed insert and large internal volumes, as well as the soft, breathable and wraparound upper, built with a Slip-on system to avoid compression points while running. Active Dynamic ProTechTion™ forefoot cushioning provides protection and structure that follows the foot's movement in a dynamic, stress-free manner. The grippy, bi-compound FriXion® Red outsole features the exclusive Trail Rocker™ solution capable of supporting the natural "outer heel - inner toe" movement of the foot during running. The laces and Ortholite® Hybrid footbed are also made with recycled materials. Akasha II: the ultra-runner's code is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.
