Spin Planet : eco-designed trail running shoes

Scarpa has launched the SPIN PLANET, an eco-friendly and sustainable trail running shoe designed for long distances. This new version of the shoe is made from recycled materials, with an upper fabric made entirely from these materials. The midsole is 45% recycled and the rubber outsole is 30%. This shoe is ideal for summer running and is suitable for beginners and experienced runners alike.

The SPIN PLANET offers many practical features for runners who run long distances on trails. Its midsole absorbs shock and provides protective cushioning. With a 4mm drop and flared heel, it offers stability on varied terrain and comfortable cushioning for technical sections. Weighing only 580g for a men's size 42 (and 520g for a women's size 38), the SPIN PLANET provides comfort and style, whether you're new to trail running or looking for a recognizable shoe.

Co-design of the shoe with ski racer ambassador Hyllary Gerardi

For the development of this shoe, Scarpa chose Hillary Gerardi as its ambassador. Hillary, a professional mountain runner and athlete, is originally from Vermont in the United States and currently lives in the Chamonix Valley near her passion for trail running and mountaineering. In addition to her running career, Hillary is also involved in environmental preservation, including participating in litter pickup activities and supporting environmental organizations.
