Dynafit: Test of the Sky Pro 2020

Dynafit: Test of the Sky Pro 2020

Since August we have had the chance to test the new Sky Pro from Dynafit. This is a trail running shoe for high mountain practitioners. It is designed to run on snow, while maintaining excellent grip on unstable and wet terrain.

Tested on all types of terrain

With the Dynafit Sky Prowe've travelled over 100 kilometres with on different types of terrain:

- Snowy and steep over the Veny valley in Italy, on the slopes of Monte Bianco.

- Descent on stony and wet ground on the slopes of Parmelan in Haute Savoie,

- Steep high mountain terrain at the foot of the Vanoise glaciers above Bonneval sur Arc.

The Sky Pro has a very good grip.

What we particularly liked was the grip of the shoe, whatever the type of terrain. We deliberately went on steep terrain, we really appreciate the grip of this Vibram shoe. You can quickly release the throttle, which allows you to make safe descents without fear of falling.

We really appreciate the comfort of the shoe and especially on the ascent, we can easily press down, we feel comfortable, the ascent is easy and safe.

The Sky Pro is equipped with a waterproof gaiter very good for running on muddy, snowy ground, crossing streams while keeping feet dry.

It's a lightweight shoe that weighs only 280 grams. In spite of its weight it is a protective shoe against the elements. This brings a lot of comfort.

The Sky Pro is equipped with a quick, precise lacing system that adapts to the shape of your foot and the desired tightening you give. It is very easy to use.

The Dynafit Sky Pro is designed to last over time. After a good 100 km the sole does not give any sign of fatigue.

Available from February 2020 at Alpinstore for 249€.
