Saola is the new brand of Annécienne éco-conçues shoes which has set itself several objectives:
- To develop nice and modern eco-designed products in order to limit the environmental impact. As the textile and footwear industry accounts for 25% of CO2 emissions, it is high time to act.
- Preserve biodiversity: support actions to preserve animal species, fauna, flora... Everything that allows our planet to function normally.
The 2019 2020 Range
You wish to wear eco-designed products, help a French start up to carry these values, we present below the Saola range.
The Saola range is available for women and men and is adapted to each activity.
The Semnoz III: the shoe for the new school year.
The Semnoz is the Lifestyle shoe for back to school. The sole is designed with algae and the upper with recycled plastic bottles. Its tongue brings comfort to your foot, it feels almost like a slipper.

The Cannon: versatile and elegant
Whether you're going to work or just out for a little fall walk, the Cannon is comfortable thanks to its algae foam sole. It does not deviate from Saola standards: the upper is also made of recycled PET. It was a real eye-catcher at the March collection presentation.
Atacama: the shoe in the colours of autumn
A woman's shoe designed for fall. Halfway up, your foot will always be warm. It's your ideal partner for cycling to work. TheAtacama is made of cork, with an algae foam sole and the top of the shoe in PET: recycled plastic bottles. A model with real values.
Niseko: a high pair for you gentlemen
A comfortable and easy to wear pair, the Niseko will bring you a lot of comfort thanks to its algae foam sole. A pair of Niseko contains between 3 and 4 recycled plastic bottles.

Baikal: the perfect compromise for urban trekking
You live in the city, you love walking to work, going out or cycling. The Baikal is the perfect compromise. Its algae foam sole is ultra comfortable no matter how many kilometres you drive on the asphalt. Plus it's ultra light.
