FUNCTIONALITIES

CARBON GRILAMID LFT® SHELL: Grilamid Carbon LFT® is a polyamide infused with long strands of carbon fiber to improve the elongation resistance and increase the rigidity of Grilamid® without adding weight. This reduces the thickness of the shell resulting in a high performance lightweight product with moderate volume. Impact resistance is also improved to ensure the high performance of the shoe over time.

ALIEN CUFF: Cu ff in Grilamid FG LFT®. This material is reinforced with long fiberglass strands and has an increased percentage of strength and stiffness compared to fiberglass and is suitable for light applications. The long fibre structure offers an increased stiffness of 20-30%. All polyamides reinforced with long fiber strands have a higher impact resistance than normal materials. The overlapping construction ensures perfect wrapping around the foot to maximize ski movement. In combination with the Speed Lock System Lite closure system, it offers maximum precision and customization.

SPEED LOCK SYSTEM LITE: Lacing system made of a light but strong alloy - A-LIGHT lever -, a Dyneema® cord, two buckles and two metal hooks. This system allows the cuff and shell to be released or locked in a single movement, allowing the cuff to be opened or closed. The new steel sun tip on the shell

CROSS FIT TOWER LITE: Intuition Thermoformable Liner that adopts the exclusive Foam Intuition design. Classic construction with front tongue and elastic at the instep. Comfortable and easy to wear and remove after use. Double top lace for easy boot placement and removal.

BOA® CLOSING SYSTEM offers a custom fit and closure for maximum comfort without pressure points. The cable is installed on a flexible tongue that extends to the toe allowing for a progressive winding without pressure points.

THE UFO SEAM has been developed exclusively with and for SCARPA® in accordance with the standards of the "ISMF" (International Ski Mountaineering Federation). Wide grooves along the outsole for good self-cleaning characteristics to remove mud, snow and debris. The sole is designed to ensure maximum traction on all types of terrain. The very thin toe thickness reduces weight, allowing extreme sensitivity on steep and difficult terrain.
