For several months now we have been happy to market the brand Hoka one one trail and running specialist.
In order to better help you choose your shoes, our partner has allowed our teams and some of our customers to test different shoes. Today we talk to you about the Hoka Mach shoe entirely designed for running.
Our test
At first glance, once you put on the Hoka Mach one is immediately convinced of the lightness and comfort of the shoe. It's very nice, but it's better to do a few kilometers with it... That's it, we just ran an hour and a half on the edge of Lake Annecy...
The lightness of the shoe gives a feeling of flying, yes the slogan of Hoka one one it's "Time to fly." In a straight line or in a curve, you stay on your feet all along your run. When climbing you are stable on your supports, ideal to do your throws when you need them.
Breathable shoe thanks to an open mesh construction. No wetness sensation, tested with Rywan and Monnet socks.
In summary
Advantages: gentle / light / responsive / breathable reception
The Hoka Mach is designed for running: training / competition up to half marathon. Eventually you can escape on trails but it is not a trail shoe.
Light you have the feeling to fly... Time to fly.
No inner stitching for more comfort and therefore avoids friction.
Sole: bucket seat feeling once you're in the shoe, your foot doesn't move.
