Julbo's category 3 Polarizing lens is made by overmoulding two parts of polycarbonate lenses onto a polarizing film.

The molecules of the polarizing filter are oriented so that it suppresses light reflection. The Polarised 3 lens suppresses the glare caused, increases visual acuity significantly (better definition of shapes and colours), and eliminates sun-related discomfort and fatigue.

Polarising technology : When light rays meet a flat surface (by car breeze, water, sea, snow, asphalt) they propagate in all directions. Polarised glass eliminates this glare.
