The Jetboil Minimo stove features a 1 litre FluxRing cooking compartment that reduces the angle of the spoon so you can easily eat directly from the cooking compartment. It has an insulated lid and a measuring glass. The new soup and the new cooking regulator offers incomparable cooking control. The igniter is push button and easy to use. The handles are metal and guarantee the solidity of the cooking system.

Test conditions

The Jetboil Minimo stove has been tested on the shores of Lake Annecy and also in the mountains in the Hautes Alpes, at an altitude of 2000 m. Tested in windy conditions.

What we immediately remember about the Jetboil Minimo stove is how easy it is to use. The stove is also very complete and has all the necessary tools:

- The system is easily laid on the ground on different types of surfaces: gravel, grass, pebbles... The system remains stable.

- Easy to use even when it is windy, which happens regularly on our outdoor expeditions.

- Easy and precise adjustment of the stove.

- Fast cooking. To heat up rice and keep it hot: 2 min 30 seconds in hand.

- It includes a lid for quicker cooking, which has a hole to remove water when making pasta from the rice...

- The heating compartment allows you to put a good bowl and cook a meal for 2 people. As explained above the speed of cooking allows you to carry a stove for 4 or 6 people and to eat quickly especially when trekking when using freeze-dried products.
