Our ambassador couple Estelle and Antoine d'Esprits Outdoor went to test the Lifestraw Misson 5L water filter bag for you during their trip to Canada on Maligne Lake. Discover below their return:
It's not always easy to find clean drinking water when traveling by van or when hiking for several days. It's often necessary to plan for a lot of water and it's difficult to estimate what you'll need.
Thanks to this small 5L and 0.43kg bag of Lifestraw, all this is much easier.
We leave it in our suspended truck so we haveclean water when we travel. When we go on multi-day hikes, we also take it with us. It takes up very little space and is very useful .
What we found really good is that there is no after-drip. The water is really good.
Filters LifeStraw removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa present in the water by means of hollow fibre membrane microfiltration. Their 0.2 micron pores physically remove bacteria and protozoa from the water. This meets US EPA standards for drinking water. Since we have been using this product, we have never been sick once.
