Cold weather protection
It's designed for cold weather mountain adventures. Its athletic fit offers waterproof, windproof, warm and breathable winter protection. While the trails in the Sella Massif can be busy, there are countless peaks, couloirs and slopes for off-trail adventures in the Dolomites.

Waterproof and breathable performance
The Sella Ski 2L jacket has a 2-layer Powertex membrane construction that combines two hardshell fabrics to provide strong, durable protection from the elements. It has waterproofing for a 20,000mm water column where you need it most, in the back, shoulders, upper arms and waist, while its main fabric has a good 10,000mm water column and breathability. Welded seams and a 100% PFC-free durable water repellent (DWR) finish provide additional protection. In the pelvis, we use a lighter membrane fabric with added wool yarns. This improves breathability to reduce sweating when climbing in sealskins. Deep side zips that let air in when you need it optimize breathability.

Thermoreactive insulation
When it comes to insulation, this jacket is filled with a lightweight layer of TirolWool® Responsive (60 g) for natural thermoregulation. The wool comes from Tyrolean sheep that live in high pastures, giving it a high lanolin content that allows it to maintain its insulating power even when wet. We enhance it with our proprietary Responsive technology that uses thermo-reactive minerals to recycle infrared energy from the body and release it over time, keeping you comfortable longer for better performance and faster recovery.

The Sella Ski 2L jacket includes many practical details, including adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs to keep out rain and snow and a clever insulated storm hood that fits over your helmet. The hood has a convenient one-handed adjustment system at the back. Dual slider zippered chest pocket for direct access to your avalanche transceiver, snow skirt, waterproof dual slider front zipper, 2 waterproof exterior zippered pockets and a large interior mesh pocket for your skins or gloves.
