The UltraRange VR3 illustrates a powerful idea: it's not about where we go, but how we get there.

Our team has set ambitious sustainability goals. All of our efforts, big or small, can have a positive impact. To earn the Checkerboard globe VR3 logo, at least 30% of the product must be made of recycled, renewable and/or regenerative materials.

Technical Specifications:

• Upper Material: one-piece knit upper is made from 50% organic cotton, 36% recycled PET and 14% recycled nylon.
• Footbed: the new VR3Cush™ midsole is made with at least 50% biosourced EVA foam partially derived from plant sources, in accordance with ASTM D6866-16 testing standard.
• Outsole: All of the rubber used to make the VR3Waffle™ outsole (60% of the compound) is regenerated natural rubber from farms with agricultural practices that promote biodiversity, improve water cycles and soil health and/or store carbon. This new rubber compound was developed and designed to maintain the grip and toughness that Vans has been known for since 1966.
