Spring/Summer 2023 is shaping up to be a very important season with many new products for La Sportiva, a leading company in the field of outdoor technical shoes and clothing, founded in Italy, in the heart of the Dolomites, in 1928.

The 95 years of La Sportiva's history have seen several products become iconic, but it was especially in the 1980s, with the strong evolution of climbing worldwide, that La Sportiva established itself as a reference brand in terms of both technicality and originality, recognizable among thousands with its emblematic colors.

TX4R LA SPORTIVA

TX4R

It is in this spirit that La Sportiva presents a special edition of the famous approach shoe TX4: this shoe is designed with the " Resole Platform ", a patented plate that allows for the resoling of the shoe, as already done with the TX2 Evo models, and which indeed doubles the life of this product.
The model is therefore named TX4 R ("R" for resoling) and is presented in two colors that perfectly represent the golden age of climbing. The old logo of the brand and the small label "Climbing on the moon" make this shoe even more special.

MIURA VS

La Sportiva is a leader in the climbing market, and here is a new product in this category: the new edition of the MIURA VS. Miura VS is a climbing shoe designed mainly for use on cliffs, where a high level of support is needed, thanks to the P3 system and the Vibram® XS Edge sole. The main technical evolution is mainly at the heel, which becomes more usable compared to the previous version, in line with the modern evolution of climbing, and is accompanied by a redesign of the three Velcro straps, which now have a more contemporary touch.

MIURA VS LA SPORTIVA

AEQUILIBRIUM SPEED GTX

The search for lightness in the mountains is increasingly demanded, and being light allows for greater speed: La Sportiva's response to this demand is called AEQUILIBRIUM SPEED GTX. Based on the innovative sole block from the Aequilibrium family, this hiking shoe is designed for all mountain activities, from mountaineering to fast approach walking. It is a true revolution in the brand's range, as below the external gaiter is a low-cut shoe, with a quick lacing system. Semi-cramponable, it features a Gore-Tex® Performance Comfort membrane combined with a waterproof gaiter, providing you with a total level of protection.

JACKAL II and JACKAL II BOA

The latest novelties of the season, in terms of shoes, are finally found in the Mountain Running category, where there are two new models designed for long and very long distance activities. JACKAL II, an evolution of the old Jackal, features a new type of heel, still associated with the performance of the EVA + Infinitoo™ sole, La Sportiva's technology that ensures ideal shoe support, even after intensive use, and with a total weight of only 275g.

It shares the sole block, but the upper and lacing are completely different for the JACKAL II BOA : the two BOA systems of this model allow for millimetric perfection in adjusting the shoe and provide the ideal fit both uphill and downhill.

TEXTILE

Beautiful novelties also in the textile collections, where the brand's effort is increasingly directed towards eco-design of products: in this spirit, the brand has focused on annual color palettes, rather than seasonal ones.

The trail running range has been almost completely renewed, always seeking technical solutions to achieve maximum performance in terms of comfort and breathability using 100% recycled materials, such as in the PACER T-SHIRT (100% PES REC) or in the AUSTER SHORT, a short with 4 pockets including one zipped and made of 90% PES Rec and 10% elastane.

The climbing range finally sees new graphic proposals on t-shirts, such as the SINCE TWENTYEIGHT T-SHIRT (100% organic cotton), the DIMENSION T-SHIRT (85% recycled polyester, 15% cotton), or the new MOUNTAIN SUN T-SHIRT, made with 75% recycled polyester, 17% Tencel (natural material), and 12% linen. Alongside these t-shirts, there are still very technical pants like the ROOTS PANT for men and the ONYX SHORT for women.
