ALIEN 1.0 Scarpa's iconic model gets a new look

The new ski mountaineering season has begun and SCARPA presents various improvements to its flagship competition model.

The ski mountaineering season is on and it's time to get the equipment out!
In order to guarantee all fans of this sport high-performance footwear, SCARPA offers the Alien line, the range of ski mountaineering boots designed to evolve in an alpine environment at 360°.

For winter 18/19, the Italian brand based in Asolo, Italy , offers a new weapon to cope with the unevenness and the technical descents of ski mountaineering competitions: the new Alien ski boot. Alien 1.0.

The Alien 1.0 offers itself a rejuvenation and integrates the latest technologies developed by SCARPA.

First of all, its Carbon/Grilamid LFT shell bottom gives it increased lateral rigidity while offering excellent protection for the foot.
Another new feature is a gaiter made of insulating and waterproof material that makes the boot completely watertight.
The BOA system integrated directly into the gaiter provides a precise and efficient tightening directly on the boot and guarantees better foot support.
The carbon collar has been reinforced and offers a more progressive tibial support on a Grilamid Carbon LFTsupport.
There is also a big novelty inside the boot: its brand new Cross Fit liner provides better skiability on the downhill and a large walking range, ideal for competitors looking for efficiency.

With the new Alien 1.0, SCARPA further strengthens its Alien range in ski mountaineering: top level competition with the Alien 3.0 , competition and training with the Alien 1.0 , and technical mountain skiing with the Alien 2.0 . Alien RS.
