The Scarpa F1is the versatile boot for all touring skiers looking for versatility, lightness, comfort and performance. It is available in a new coloured version as part of the FW18.19 collection. The Scarpa F1 is the perfect product for all alpine skiing activities, from climbing with crampons to descents in the snow, where the Carbon Core technology with its X-Cage Evo shell guarantees direct transmission of the impulse to the ski in any situation.
The rear loop is easy to use and allows skiers to switch from skiing to walking in a safe and direct way. The boot closes thanks to two adjustment systems: the BOA® system for the forefoot and the quick buckle with Velcro and reference graphics for the shin area. The Vibram sole makes walking fast and safe. The most exciting new feature of this FW18 / 19 model is the introduction of RECCO® technology, which enables you to locate missing persons quickly and precisely. SCARPA is the first ski mountaineering brand on the market to use this technology.
The women's version, the SCARPA® F1 WMN , is designed to offer all alpine skiers the same high-quality performance as the Scarpa F1 . THE BOA® SYSTEM
The BOA® system offers a personalised closure and adapts for maximum comfort without pressure points. Each click is equivalent to 1mm of precision adjustment. Once adjusted and locked in place, the BOA® system continues to lock securely, even after several hours of use.
Recco® System
With RECCO® Technology, rescue teams can follow you in the event of an avalanche. The technology includes RECCO® reflectors attached to clothing, helmets, guards and boots, and RECCO® sensors used by more than 800 rescue organizations worldwide. The reflectors and detectors allow users to track missing persons through the use of harmonic radar technology.
RECCO® technology is an additional tool that can be used with avalanche transceivers, probes and rescue dogs. The technology enables rescue agencies to find buried or lost people faster and increase their chances of survival. On F1 models, the RECCO® reflector is installed in the FBC strap of the right boot.
