The Green Shape Core Collection - the heart of VAUDE 's sustainable product development - is entering its second season in summer 2019.

With a sustainable collection and many new innovative and exclusive materials, VAUDE has already opened a new chapter in the field of eco-friendly outdoor clothing. Highly versatile, the collection covers a wide range of outdoor activities. Its success and the numerous awards it has received have earned it a place in the 2019 summer season. The new models launched for the summer are resolutely functional and largely focused on numerous cycling activities. The " multiuse " approach also continues to play a central role.

ECOFAIR

To manufacture the products in our Green Shape Core Collection, we have selectively sought out environmentally friendly functional materials. Together with our suppliers, we have developed new fabrics and innovative technologies for which there was no solution yet. Each of the materials was examined from every angle from an ecological and social point of view. The entire collection is "ecofair". In other words, we conserve valuable raw material reserves by using recycled materials and replacing fossil raw materials with biobased alternatives such as kapok, castor oil or cow's milk. We are pioneering the use of biodegradable fibres for polar fleece products and use the natural functional properties of the materials to reduce the proportion of chemicals. From the procurement of materials to their processing into innovative products, we also ensure that we use environmentally friendly processes and observe fair working conditions at our production sites throughout the entire supply chain.

MULTIUSE

The Green Shape Core Collection is suitable for a multitude of outdoor activities. True to the motto "multiuse", it is in line with the idea of thoughtful and sustainable consumption. In order not to waste resources in vain, it is a matter of universally using products in smaller quantities rather than having specific products available in large quantities. Our products are designed to be suitable for a wide range of activities, from easy ski touring to winter excursions to cycling to work, and can be combined as desired to suit the weather conditions. Ergonomic cuts, intelligent material combinations and well thought-out technical design guarantee performance combined with well-being.
