In 1924, Anton Kästle produced his first pair of skis in his carpentry workshop in Hohenems and thus began a unique success story. Toni Sailer, the Epple sisters, Pirmin Zurbriggen, Tom Stiansen and other champions in their field won a total of 132 Olympic and World Cup medals on Kästle skis.

Kästle became a cult brand - before suddenly disappearing from the market in 1998. In 2007, the brand made a spectacular comeback thanks to a group of investors led by Rudolf Knünz, and immediately set the course for an entire industry: "We are bringing construction technologies from racing to the all-mountain sector and developing the revolutionary Hollowtech.
