Based in the Slovenian Alps, it has over 80 years of experience in designing and manufacturing the world's best skis for friends and families who love to ski and have fun in the mountains. The transfer of knowledge through several generations and an efficient adaptation of our production processes allows us to have a complete vertical production on one site in BEGUNJE.

Élan's promise of sustainability begins with the raw materials needed to produce the skis of the most demanding skiers, without sacrificing our commitment to the environment.

99% of our raw materials for our skis come from the European Union, while almost 70% come from within a 400 km radius of our factory. As a result, we ensure a short transportation chain for our raw materials and thereby contribute to an overall reduction of our company's carbon footprint. In the beginning, Elan used only wood from local forests to make its skis. Today, as an international manufacturer, the company continues to produce its skis with sustainably sourced wood by controlling the origin and traceability.
