Created in 1982 in the United States, the 100% brand was born thanks to Drew Lien, a pilot converted into a motocross mechanic. At the time, the brand was to be called Drew Racing Product but finally opted for the name 100% in reference to Bob Hannah, a pilot who wore the number 100 and who gave 100%. At that time, Drew decided to donate dirt bike parts to certain riders at competitions and in exchange, the riders were required to display a 100% sticker on their outfits and bikes. As the brand grew in popularity, it quickly became a leading brand in the motocross equipment market. Despite the popularity of the brand, the demand for 100% products decreased in the 90's and the brand was bought in 2012 by Marc Blanchard and Ludovic Boinnard. Since then, other products have been created by the brand while inspired by the world of motocross and are even references in other worlds such as mountain biking, skiing or cycling.

Since the takeover of the brand, the products offered are inspired by equivalents in the motorcycle racing sector and are all created from the best technologies available in order to offer riders optimal conditions for performance in all circumstances. For example, ski goggles have lenses that are interchangeable by a magnetic system that allows you to put on the lens that best suits your practice. This technology called Gravit8 which offers 8 magnetic points to hold the lens to the frame in all circumstances. Several other technologies were also created by 100% such as Ultra HD technology, an unbreakable polycarbonate lens designed to maximize protection while maintaining the clearest and most accurate vision, even in extreme weather conditions. The lenses also feature Scratch Resistant Protection technology that makes them ultra scratch resistant as well aswater and oil repellent to keep out stains, scratches and moisture even in the harshest conditions. All these technologies are available on the different product ranges of the brand whether it is for skiing, motocross or cycling.

The 100% brand constantly seeking to innovate and offer the best possible technologies for its products does not however neglect its ecological impact. Indeed, the brand tries to reduce its negative impact as much as possible, especially in terms of product packaging, since the brand offers cardboard and paper packaging while abandoning plastic, which is a real asset. Paper maché is also used to protect the products when they are sent and most of the time the products are delivered with reusable covers or protection made of fabric or foam. A nice effort that deserves to be highlighted.
